Vikings Finish up Great season

The Barstow Community College Women's Basketball team finished the season 16-12 overall and 6-4 in the Final season of the Foothill Conference.  Jaylan Price-Johnson from Shadow Ridge High School in Las Vegas and Essence Reece from Denver Colorado were honored as 1st Team All-Conference selections.  Ana Velazquez from El Paso Texas received 2nd Team All-Conference honors while Stephanie Delhumeav was selected as an honorable mention.  Essence Reece finished 12th in the conference in rebounds and 3rd in blocked shots.  Essence Reece led the Vikings in rebounds and scoring this season with Jaylan Price-Johnson finishing second in scoring with 10 points a game and a team high 32 steals.  Ana Velazquez averaged nearly 9 points a game and Stephanie Delhumeav pulled down 7 rebounds per game in conference.  The Vikings had a tremendous season and twice were ranked #15 in the regional coaches poll.
